Responsibilities :
- Responding to and processing incoming calls and orders
- Entering orders into system
- Developing knowledge base on current products and new products
- Providing quotations and product information
- Troubleshooting (freight problems, expediting etc.)
- Responding to inquiries
- Maintain excellent logs and conduct scheduled updates with the sales team
- Collaborate closely with and provide feedback to other team members to drive results and portfolio growth
- Administrative responsibilities as required
Desired Skills and Experience :
- A minimum of 2-4 years experience in an inside sales and customer service role
- Postsecondary education or diploma in a technical field is ideal
- A background or experience in the industrial sector is a definite asset
- A new grad from a technical post secondary program will also be considered
- A background in selling industrial and commercial products is an asset.
- Demonstrated proficient use of CRM AND ERP (Salesforce and SAP) is an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
- Strong team player with the willingness to be involved in multiple aspects of the business
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean criminal background
Remuneration for this position will consist of a base salary of $60-65K in addition to an annual company profit share (typically 20%) in addition to a full benefit program including RRSP matching.
