Reporting directly to the CFO, you will collaborate closely with the Payroll Administrator and other team members to drive HR initiatives and promote a supportive, compliant, and engaging work environment.
Responsibilities : Recruitment & Onboarding- Partner with managers on recruitment, screening, and onboarding.- Coordinate Coop Program hiring, including subsidy and tax data management.
Employee Experience & Career Management : - Lead recognition programs and organize employee events.- Champion training programs and career development.
- Manage student hiring and subsidy programs, as well as a machine certification program.Benefits Administration : - Manage group insurance and pension plans, providing detailed information to employees.
- Assist with benefits renewals and maintain employee resources.Labor Relations & Discipline : - Support managers in conflict resolution, incivility, and harassment cases.
- Participate in union negotiations and address union grievances.Health & Safety : - Actively participate in the occupational health and safety committee.
- Oversee CNESST / WSIB / WCB claims and promote safety initiatives.Compliance & Legislation : - Ensure policies adhere to all relevant legislation.
- Support maintenance of the Pay Equity Program and Bill 25 (privacy act) compliance.HR Administration : - Digitally organize HR files and documents.
- Manage employee absences, vacation tracking, and support hybrid policy implementation.Payroll Support : - Work closely with Payroll Administrator, with a solid understanding of payroll processes.
Skills & Qualifications : - Strong communication skills in French- Ability to handle conflict with confidence, empathy, and active listening.
