Position Overview :

This role is available due to a shift restructuring. As a Red Seal Millwright , you’ll work with advanced Forel machinery from Italy, handling production equipment in a fast-paced and evolving setting.

Core Responsibilities

• Certification : Red Seal Millwright license
• Tools : Must provide own tools
• Team Fit : Punctual, team-oriented, and dedicated to quality work
• Machine Maintenance and Repair : Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Troubleshooting Expertise : Diagnose mechanical issues swiftly and accurately, implementing effective solutions to minimise production downtime.
• Installation of Equipment : Assemble and install new machinery, liaising with vendors and internal departments to ensure proper setup.
• Compliance and Safety : Adhere to workplace safety regulations and policies, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Documentation : Maintain detailed service records and technical reports for all maintenance activities.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other team members and departments to support continuous improvement initiatives in operations.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Certification : Red Seal Certification as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright is required.
• Technical Skills : Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex machinery issues.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
• Physical Ability : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in varied environmental conditions.
• Schedule : Flexible shifts : Day (6 : 30 am - 3 pm), Afternoon (2 : 30 pm - 11 pm), Night (10 : 30 pm - 7 am)
