The Role
The primary duties of the Industrial Mechanic Millwright include performing repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, carrying out maintenance inspections, and reading schematic drawings.
This position requires a 6-day on, 3 days off schedule rotation Monday through Sunday, with the ability to work the following shift times :
- Daytime : 6 : 15 AM to 2 : 15 PM
- Afternoon : 2 : 15 PM to 10 : 15 PM
- Evening : 10 : 15 PM to 6 : 15 AM ( only required every 2 months )
Responsibilities
- Transporting and adjustment of heavy equipment
- Following company procedures
- Control of pollution systems
- Fabrication of small parts using welding techniques
- Use of plasma cutters
- General maintenance and repairs
- Determine work procedures through analysis of equipment diagrams and drawings
Requirements
- 3+ years of relatable experience in an industrial setting as a Millwright
- Red Seal certification
- Dry bulk material handling equipment experience is a must-have
- Ability to abide by health and safety measures
- Ability to communicate expectations and best practices
- Experience working with conveyors and air quality systems
- Problem-solving, leadership, and time management skills
Compensation
- $47 an hour + shift premiums
- Overtime double pay
