We are simultaneously involved in the technical and operational ownership of select strategic connectivity partner accounts, including global hotel chain brands.

About the Role :
Agoda is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Analytics and Operations to join our team. This is a remote role, ideally based on the East Coast or in Toronto.
This position is a unique blend of hands-on operational work and strategic planning. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoying both rolling up their sleeves and leading a team, as well as contributing to overarching business strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Delivery :
Manage, standardize, and validate the structure of business cases for product development, headcount, engineering resources, budgets, and strategic roadmap prioritization.
Experimentation :
Define success metrics, measure and validate experiments, and foster an experimental mindset within teams.
Forecasting and Insights :
Provide macro-level business intelligence to identify opportunities, overcome obstacles, and drive commercial behaviors across the organization.
Analytics & Alerts :
Perform quantitative analysis and data mining, present business metrics, identify key drivers, and build an end-to-end communication framework based on business value, effort, and urgency.
Process Improvement :
Collaborate with all teams to drive inter- and intra-departmental efficiencies, optimize processes, and prioritize system enhancements.
Reporting :
Build dashboards and internal / external reports, and present key datasets to enable efficient and effective performance monitoring and prioritization.
Leadership :
Lead and mentor a small team of experts, guiding them to deliver on the above functions and supporting their professional growth.
Qualifications :
- 6+ years of leadership experience in analytics, data science, insights, or strategy.
- 3+ years of experience leading analytics, operational, product, or other technical teams.
- Expertise in data analysis and data visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, R, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning.
- Proven experience in deriving insights from data and providing actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and coordinate resources effectively.
- Strong program / project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering, science, economics, or finance).
- Experience in articulating strategic issues and negotiating with C-level executives. Experience leading strategy consulting projects is a plus.
- Proven track record of people management and developing high-performing teams.
