ROCKWOOL is seeking a Director, Marketing & Branding to develop and execute the U.S. and Canadian marketing strategy, including : brand awareness & reputation, customer marketing, product marketing, channel marketing & digital marketing .
This position is full time, on site at our Milton, ON North American headquarters with travel up to 20%.

The Director Marketing & Branding has 7 direct reports 1) Product Marketing Manager 2) Channel Marketing Manager, Residential 3) Channel Manager, Commercial 4) Digital Marketing Mgr.
Engagement & Experience 5) Digital Marketing Mgr., Lead Generation & Campaigns 6) Brand Manager 7) Marketing Specialist.
This position reports to the Vice President Marketing & Business Development and is an active member of the Marketing & Business Development Leadership Team.
What You Will Be Doing
Leading through a high performance team, you will be accountable for :
- North American brand architecture, positioning and identity, in line with the ROCKWOOL GROUP global tone of voice’. Key measurements include US & Canada brand awareness & reputation score.
- Development and implementation of the North American marketing communications strategy for new and existing products, key stakeholder segments (DIY / DIFM, Contractor, Professional Installer, Architect & Owner) and market segments : Single family / Multi-family homes, Health, Education, Leisure, Office).
- Sales Enablement : Working closely with the Sales team to develop strategy and objectives supporting a commercially focused marketing function that supports operational sales and promotional activity, enabling the sales effort in all key channels (trade shows, customer / channel promotions, training and presentations)
- Lead Generation : Develop high impact content & campaigns to engage key stakeholder segments and create leads, nurture MQL (marketing qualified leads) and ultimately converting to SQL
- Act as North American champion for global digital marketing implementation and support
- Collaborate with the Product Management team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally
- Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market insights, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to translate results into actionable insights
- Guide the day to day activities and ensure implementation of marketing objectives with the team
- Management and accountability of North America product and brand trademarks
- Manage all external marketing agencies including creative marketing agencies, event marketing and Public Relations
- Management of the North American marketing budget
- Work cross functionally with Product Management & Strategy, Public Affairs & Communications, Market Intelligence, and Technical teams.
- Travel of 20% throughout Canada and the U.S.
What You Bring
- University Degree, preferably in Business / Marketing / Communications
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Marketing in a similar role of leadership
- Strong data analytics background
- Experience working with national distributors
- Customer minded & analytical / insights driven
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
- Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Experienced and highly skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines in a fact paced environment
