Our client is seeking a SR Application Support Analyst with AMANDA Application for a Municipal client
Duration : Initial 3-month contract with potential for extension
Location : Remote, with a preference for candidates in the Vancouver / Maple Ridge area
Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Applications Analyst to provide support, maintenance, patching, and sustainment of critical business systems.
The role involves supporting new software implementations, configuring and testing systems, integrating with platforms such as Azure for SSO, and coordinating with the business team for user acceptance testing (UAT).
Previous experience with the AMANDA system is required, and familiarity with Tempest or municipal systems is highly desirable.
Must haves :
- 8+ years as a SR Application Analyst supporting the AMANDA application.
- Municipal sector experience
- Python scripting in enterprise environment
- C# and SQL query writing.
- Installing, troubleshooting, business applications in a server environment.
Preferred Experience :
- Azure experience
- Understanding of application interfaces and API connections.
- Scriptwriting for automation of business processes.
- Familiarity withTempest
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and patching for enterprise business applications.
- Implement and configure new software solutions, including server installation and system integration.
- Support system integrations, particularly with Azure for SSO and API connections.
- Conduct UAT with business stakeholders and prepare final documentation.
- Work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve issues with applications and server environments.
- Write scripts to automate processes and improve efficiency within the systems.
