Web Applications Developer
- 1+ year contract
- Pay Rate : $65-85 / hour
- On-site in Toronto

Raise is hiring for several leading Financial Services clients in downtown Toronto right now. They have ongoing needs for Web Developers with 5+ years’ experience and expertise with REACT.
js (Material UI), REST API (.NET Core / C#) and SQL database.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive review of existing web-based applications
- Integrate new applications into a predominantly MS environment
- Enhance and support existing web applications
- Design and developing new web applications
- Develop and maintain web applications using REACT.js (Material UI), REST API (.NET Core / C#) and SQL database
- Ensure that web applications are developed with Secure by Design and meet OWASP Top Ten standard
- Develop AODA compliant applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Write automated tests to ensure high-quality code
- Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features
- Collaborate with other developers to ensure that the codebase is consistent and maintainable.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that code is of high quality
- Work with the DevOps team to deploy and maintain web applications
- Continuously improve the development process by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience developing web applications using REACT.js (Material UI), REST API (.NET Core / C#) and SQL database
- Experience of Secure by Design and developing web applications which must meet OWASP Top Ten standard
- Experience developing AODA compliant applications
- Strong testing skill with good attention to detail
- Experience of Azure DevOps is required
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
