Involves partnering with organization(s) working on a sustainability issue. Students work in interdisciplinary teams to identify the scientific, economic, legal and social dimensions of a particular environmental problem, evaluate a set of candidate solutions, and recommend an approach.

Requirements :
- The candidate must a) have a graduate degree with significant work experience in a senior managerial role in the private or public sector in one or more areas related to environmental sustainability;
- b) have practical experience with project management, communication strategies and tactics, public engagement and consultation, and social media marketing;
c) have the ability to communicate effectively with students from a range of background knowledge bases, from economics and political science through the natural / physical sciences and engineering, and of course, d) having previous experience teaching an applied capstone course to students of diverse backgrounds is considered an asset.
