Responsabilities
- Fielding customer inquiries, selecting appropriate equipment and generating proposals.
- Managing orders from entry to shipping.
- Following up on outstanding quotations.
- Assessing equipment in for repair and generating repair quotations.
- Checking status of orders and reporting to customers accordingly.
- Manage the equipment selection / quotation / order process, product inspection, testing and warranty claims.
- Supporting the needs of outside technical salespeople.
- Generate and place purchase orders with vendors for parts and equipment.
- Working closely with other employees engaged in equipment service and / or customer service roles within the company.
Qualifications
- 5 7 years experience in outside or inside sales.
- We're seeking an individual to fill a multi-function role in our Mississauga facility.
- Proficient with office software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- An engineering diploma or degree (mechanical, industrial, or chemical).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with the application and / or sales of industrial or municipal pumping equipment (centrifugal, vertical turbine, PD, diaphragm, metering, etc.) is required.
- Experience with and knowledge of instrumentation and distributed control systems would be a valued asset.
- Strong written and oral communication skills (English) and be able to communicate well with customers and vendors,
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Active listener with excellent communication skills.
- Sound judgement and critical thinking.

- 60k 90 Base Salary (based on experience negotiable)
