We are a leading company in the manufacturing industry. We are currently seeking a licensed Millwright to join our growing team.
Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate various CNC machines and manual equipment to produce precision tools and dies
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements and dimensions
- Inspect and measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines and manual equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and improve machining processes and techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and company policies
- Continuously update technical knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and professional development opportunities
Requirements :
- Post-secondary education in Millwright, 443A preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Millwright
- Strong understanding of programming, tooling, and machine setup
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, precise work
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
