Your Daily Contribution & Impact :
Plan and coordinate various warehouse activities to meet or exceed the facility objectives.
Purchase order variance research, investigations, and adjustments.
Promote and support a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with governmental regulations.
Assist in put-away and picking of product using various warehouse equipment.
Assist in loading and unloading truck, when necessary.
Assist in the training of new employees and the ongoing training of existing employees to ensure quality and productivity goals are met or exceeded.
Focus on customer needs and customer service while ensuring that all policies and procedures are met.
Communicate with team members regarding operational issues providing effective feedback.
Act as a leader and as a coach with employees by encouraging continuous improvement and supporting an inclusive work environment.
Expertise & Essential Skills :
High school diploma or equivalent
3 to 5 years experience in a distribution environment
Experience with warehouse management system (WMS), RF Units, ERP (SAP)
Certified in the safe operation of material handling equipment.
Ability to adapt and lead in a constantly changing environment.
Capacity to work under pressure for meeting customer needs.
Strong leadership skills, which include the ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong Communication, organizational and planning skills.
Able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
Experience in wholesale distribution and / or automotive industry.
