Exploration Labourer: Temporary Work Placement

Coeur Mining, Inc. is a well-diversified growing precious metals producer with five operations in North America. The Coeur Silvertip mine located in British Columbia, just 10 miles south of the Yukon border is seeking a Exploration Labourer : Temporary Work Placement to work in a camp-based environment, working 12 hour shifts.

The base pay for this position is $22.00 to $23.00 per hour based on skills and experiences.

Job Duties :

• Support the Exploration department with general labourer duties.
• Keep up to date inventory and location of drillholes in core yard.
• Relocate core and core boxes.
• Cut diamond drill core samples (fit-tested respirator required).
• Perform general clean-up duties.
• Perform pre-operational checks and operate equipment according to Safe Operating Procedures.
• Monitor equipment and processes and ensure equipment deficiencies and operational issues are reported clearly.

Position Requirements :

• High school diploma, Dogwood Diploma, or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Forklift experience considered an asset.
• Mining industry experience desired.
• Physically fit to perform the duties of the position.

Work Placement Requirements :

• Silvertip is located within Tahltan and Kaska First Nations Traditional territories and local community members and Canadian Indigenous peoples are encouraged to apply.
• Additionally, remote British Columbia and Yukon residents are encouraged to apply.
• Positions may be eligible for external subsidies and applicants may be required to co-endorse subsidy agreement.
