As our Manufacturing Operations Plant Manager , you’ll take the reins of our high-performance windows and doors manufacturing hub, overseeing a state-of-the-art facility that will serve as the cornerstone of our Western Canadian operations.

This is more than just a production role this is a leadership opportunity for a seasoned professional who can blend strategic oversight with deep operational expertise, ensuring our Calgary plant becomes the benchmark for operational excellence across the industry.

You’ll be managing a team of 100+ staff, aligning production to meet ambitious business goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.

Position Description

As the Manufacturing Operations Plant Manager, you will be at the helm of our cutting-edge manufacturing plant in Calgary.

Your role will extend beyond managing daily production; you will build and implement long-term strategies to grow the plant’s capabilities and output, while maintaining an unwavering focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

You’ll oversee complex operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure every part of our production line performs at peak efficiency and effectiveness.

What You’ll Do :

Lead with a hands-on approach : You’ll be a leader on the floor engaged, approachable, and driving success from the front lines.

You’ll ensure production outcomes exceed targets, and you’ll be ready to step in whenever challenges arise.

• Drive operational excellence : From optimizing plant workflows to implementing lean principles, you will relentlessly seek out opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and deliver the highest quality products.
• Visionary leadership : You will oversee the full production lifecycle, aligning daily operations with the long-term growth strategy of the Calgary plant, which will serve all of Western Canada.
• Talent development : You’ll foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement by mentoring your team, providing ongoing feedback, and developing structured growth plans that empower staff to reach their full potential.
• Strategic production oversight : You’ll lead in the planning and execution of production schedules that meet customer demand while balancing capacity and resources effectively.
• Customer-first focus : Production will not only meet, but consistently exceed customer expectations for quality and delivery.

You’ll champion this customer-driven focus at every level of the plant.

What We’re Looking For :

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations management , with a strong preference for those who have led large-scale operations in a state-of-the-art production environment.
• Proven success in overseeing production for a complex, high-output facility with 100+ employees.
• Deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles , operational scalability, and how to drive process improvements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on leadership style : We want someone who thrives on the plant floor, interacting directly with teams, problem-solving in real-time, and ensuring that no production challenges go unresolved.
• A strategic thinker who can align operational priorities with the larger business goals of our Western Canadian hub, ensuring long-term success.
• Relentless drive for results : A proven track record of pushing teams to achieve and surpass production targets, with an eye for continuous improvement.
• A customer-first mindset , ensuring that production meets the highest quality standards and that products are delivered on time, exceeding expectations.
