Accounting Assistant - 12-18 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices on a daily basis
• Maintain the general ledger with a high degree of accuracy
• Follow up with customers on overdue payments
• Match invoices to purchase orders
• Process vendor payments
• Assist with ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed

About You

• 2+ years of relevant experience with Accounts Payable / Receivable and General Accounting
• Experience with QuickBooks or a similar accounting system
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
