Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards, the Senior Analyst, Total Rewards will play a key role in developing, implementing and maintain our compensation programs across Canada.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR Peers : Provide recommendations and advice on compensation topics and related programs to support our HR Business Partner community.
  • Deliver Excellence : Ensure effective program delivery through HR Business Partners and occasionally provide direct support to employees and managers.
  • Innovate and Improve : Participates in the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of compensation programs, activities, and tools.
  • Drive Research and Analysis : Conduct in-depth research, analysis, costing, and provide initial recommendations on compensation activities and initiatives.
  • Benchmarking and Compliance : Perform annual benchmarking analysis and ensure compliance with Pay Equity legislation and related exercises.
  • Support Annual Review : Actively participate in the annual compensation review process, , management training, and validation of proposed increases.
  • Create New Job Families : Assist in creating new job families by conducting interviews, gathering market data, and developing appropriate salary recommendations.
  • Stay Informed : Keep abreast of internal and external trends / issues affecting McKesson’s market position, employee satisfaction, and People Strategies in Canada.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or Human Resources.
  • 3-5years of experience in compensation or relevant fields.

Key Competencies

  • Experience in unionized environments is an asset.
  • Proficiency in survey methodology and point-factor job evaluation systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fully bilingual (English and French) with excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Solid business acumen and customer focus.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing business conditions and priorities.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Workday, or any other HRIS.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
