Position summary
This position is actively involved with our York Region Preschool Speech and Language Program providing a coordinated community-based speech and language service for children, birth to school entry.

Schedule
The successful candidate must be available to work day (8 : 30am - 4 : 30pm or 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm) with flexibility to cover additional shifts as required.

Compensation
BAND CUPC03 : Hourly - $ - per hour. Annually - $50, - $56,
Responsibilities

Administration
Entering visit statistics and outcome measure data into a Ministry database. Ordering supplies, and maintaining filing systems.
General office and clerical duties. Typing and distributing general correspondence. Preparing for weekly team meetings, recording and distributing minutes.

Support
Contacting families for scheduling appointments. Opening electronic client records. Updating client database to support speech language pathology caseload planning.
Requirements

Experience
Previous reception / clerical experience in a healthcare setting. Experience and knowledge of child development programs and / or experience in an outpatient medical clinic setting.
Experience with entering data into the Healthy Child Development - Integrated Services for Children Information System (HCD-ISCIS) preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the team. Strong computer skills in MS Word (Excel experience is preferred) and excellent typing skills.
