Job Title : Project Manager : Infrastructure

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager with advanced IT Infrastructure expertise. The successful candidate will play an integral role in leading a technical team to integrate and maintain new and existing IT infrastructure.
The incumbent will work in partnership with a team of subject matter experts in IT, Solutions, Security and Network areas to determine a strong integration strategy roadmap.
Role :
- Create and execute development plans across multiple projects and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Keeps assigned project managers well informed of status of development effort and serve as liaison between technical staff and project managers and / or clients across multiple projects.
- Identify reusable code required for the code library and ensures the high quality creation of the code.
- Define, communicate and enforce coding standards.
- Manage technical teams within project schedule.
- Consistently deliver high-quality services.
- Schedule and attend meetings with clients
- Explain the technology in proposed solutions to Clients and others (where applicable)
- Present work to the client at milestones throughout the production
- Obtain, discuss and follow up with feedback from client
- Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded in terms of quality of product and service delivered
- Experience with mid to large projects involving the implementation of business change and new / enhanced systems.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education : University Degree : PMP certification
- 7 to 10 years of project management experience with advanced experience in Infrastructure Implementations This should include a successful record of delivering projects based on customer requirements and include all aspects of real project management from managing staff, planning using project tools, organizing resources, team management, managing project status, earned value performance management and financial reconciliation.
- Varied background experience should include past experience in IT within at least one area of Finance, Program Management, Change Management and / or Data Centers
- Excellent organization skills a demonstrated history of effective time management, coordination with stakeholders, managing customer (internal or external) expectations, ability to write in simple succinct English, a logical approach to information categorization, and work breakdown structures.
- Strong leadership skills and teambuilding
- Strong IT Infrastructure knowledge; experience in various platforms and network technology (Windows / Unix / Citrix)
- Good understanding of application programming, database and system design is expected
