MNP Digital is a national practice and offers the flexibility to be based from any MNP office within Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver industry and technical expertise in information security through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and the creation of high quality deliverables
  • Provision of client services including planning, budgeting, scheduling and coordinating engagements
  • Facilitate collaboration with client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality and deadlines
  • Identify ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value
  • Maintain high quality control by reviewing work done from other team members for accuracy and completeness; provide feedback to team members
  • Monitor project timelines against targets and adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status
  • Network and take a leadership role in the local professional and business community while raising awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Assist in the development and training of team members towards professional and personal growth

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, security or related field
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA and / or other related certifications (or working towards)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in security
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT
  • Understanding of IT security and governance frameworks (i.e.ISO 27001 / 2, NIST, CIS 20, COBIT, etc.)
  • Understanding and experience in delivery of Security services (vulnerability assessments, TRA’s, cyber maturity assessments, cloud security, penetration testing, incident response / forensics, PCI)
  • Understanding of Security and Privacy compliance (i.e., OSFI, Interac, PCI, PIPEDA, etc.)
  • Experience with architecting, configuration and delivering technology-based controls
  • Experience in business and practice development
  • Security Clearance considered an asset
  • Some travel required
