Purpose of the Role :
As the Test Engineer Co-op, you will support the testing team in all aspects of the testing process, from mechanical to electrical, and concept through execution.
The primary goal is to ensure the quality, accuracy, and repeatability of test data to help drive data-based decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- You are currently enrolled in Chemistry or Material Science degree.
- You have experience in chemical synthesis (lab scale),wet chemistry and sample preparation.
- You have knowledge insorption andsorbent characterization techniquesusinglab instruments(,TGA, DSC, DVS, XRD, EDS,PSD,FTIR, Sorption units,breakthrough unit, mass spectrometer,etc.),&data analysis.
What Success looks like in this role :
- You will participateinmaterialcharacterizationactivitiesrelevant to Svante’s carbon capture technologyand manufacturing methods.
- You willusestandard labinstrumentsand performscientific data analysis and interpretation.
- You will participate in method development & optimization and experimental uncertainty analysis.
- You will prepare documents such as technical reports, SOPs, presentations, publications, and patents.
