Overview
The Office Administrator Assistant plays a vital role in managing Accounts Payable functions, ensuring accurate invoice confirmations, and meticulously handling data entry tasks within SAP and other computer-based systems.
In addition to these core responsibilities, they are integral in supporting the seamless execution of day-to-day office operations.
This dynamic position offers a six-month contract opportunity , stationed at the Lafarge Edmonton Precast Plant.
Responsibilities :
Interacting with suppliers and contractors in person, on the phone, and email
Attend to customer inquiries
creating PO's and receiving invoices through an ERP system (SAP)
supporting Logistics and 3rd Party Sales
Production Entries and Confirmations for the GEA and CAB markets
Management of CAPEX PO's and invoice receiving and tracking
Managing some high volume receiving from vendors for Aggregate sites
Office related consumables ordering
Perform office safety orientations as needed
Aiding co-workers with various office tasks (filing, backup functions)
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred
Experience in the aggregate industry is a benefit
Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
Experience with SAP is an asset
Google Office Suite experience preferred
Understanding of physical and electronic filing systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
