DescriptionAt Lufa Farms, we’re on a mission to create a better food system and a huge part of this is achieved by growing food where people live, and growing it responsibly.
With new projects constantly on the horizon, we’re looking for an internal Headhunter and Talent Recruiter to help us find the next doers who can help carry out our vision.
Working hand in hand with several department heads, the Recruiter will define the required roles for each team, create job descriptions, and review and analyze incoming resumes.
Most importantly, the Recruiter will consistently be on the lookout for new stellar talent, proactively doing outreach to recruit the next members of the Lufa Farms team.Responsibilities
- Create recruitment strategies;
- Find, screen, and select the best candidates for open positions;
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle across a variety of open roles, helping managers find, hire, and retain quality candidates;
- Identify future hiring needs and develop job descriptions and specifications;
- Collaborate with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements;
- Attract suitable candidates through different means (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.);
- Conduct interviews and sort through applicants to fill open positions;
- Assess applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.Requirements
- Organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail;
- Proactivity and sense of responsibility;
- Integrity, reliability, and ability to handle confidential information;
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Workspace, and other information systems software;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.Assets
- College diploma or bachelor's degree in human resources or related discipline;
- Foodie with a passion for urban ag and local food.Schedule
- Full-time (40 hours / week), Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.Benefits
- Salary to be determined based on experience and knowledge of the candidate;
