We have an immediate need for Industrial Electricians to join our Maintenance Team. In this role, you will play a key part in the repair and maintenance of our facilities machines and systems such as multi- axis turning centers, specialized lens manufacturing equipment, thin film coating chambers.

Primary Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications to guide installation, repair, and maintenance activities.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in accordance with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they lead to downtime or production delays.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner to minimize disruption to production.
- Planning and coordinating of resources and activities within the team, other departments and external as required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Remain current with developments in electrical technology, industry best practices, and relevant codes and regulations.
- Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture
Qualifications & Experience :
- Valid Ontario Electrician License (442A)
- And / or as Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma would be considered
- A 309A license will be considered based on experience working on industrial controls
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience in manufacturing working with high precision machinery (mechanical, optical and measuring equipment)
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Availability to work on a rotating shift schedule and respond to emergency calls as needed.
