The Operations and Services Financial Analyst for Cytiva Nanomedicine is responsible for developing, implementing and / or maintaining a standard cost accounting system and analyzing product costing, labour & overhead absorption, and supporting inventory management.
This position is part of the Finance department located in Vancouver, Canada and will be hybrid. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you'll do :
Review standard material, labor, subcontractor fees and overhead costs during year - track and maintain monthly to ensure corrective actions are implemented to drive long term productivity and profitable growth.
Analyze gross margin, other cost of sales, inventory trends and turnover ratios, and production yield data to drive capital allocation decisions and cash management.
Support Controllership in inventory accounting decisions, such as E&O exceptions and report impact of inventory movements on productivity metrics (i.e cost of quality).
Work with Manufacturing to plan and conduct physical inventories and reconcile to Oracle systems. Support Product / Customer margin analysis by reviewing, correcting, and reconciling Oracle transactions that drive detailed corporate and business unit P&L reporting.
Support the analysis of variances incurred during production and purchasing activities by reviewing production order variances and PPV.
Ensure timely completion of month-end process for settlement of production orders and / or the review of production orders prior to settlement.
Who you are :
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field and with 2+ years experience OR Master's degree with 0+ years experience
Professional cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of the manufacturing process from raw to finished goods and cost of sales, including experience working with ERP systems (i.
e Oracle) or equivalent accounting software packages.
Demonstrated analytical / quantitative skills to properly use data and transform it into insights.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner with non-Finance colleagues building strong relationships with senior management, external providers, internal project members, and any other relevant project stakeholders.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
Life sciences industry and / or regulatory compliance knowledge
Developing financial models to forecast a business funnel, orders & revenues, and operational execution to drive its growth

The salary range for this role is 80,000 - 105,000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.
