What does your day look like at Edon?
- Oversee painting tasks and projects within the facility to maintain building aesthetics
- Coordinate with other trades to ensure necessary work is completed prior to painting
- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, and stain wood surfaces as required
- Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Perform general maintenance tasks as required in accordance with contract and code requirements, including but not limited to building aesthetics, millwork, minor plumbing, door install and repairs, filter changes, and other similar duties
- Respond to service requests and emergencies
- Adhere to Edon’s Quality Management System policies as well as OHS legislation and regulations
What do you need to succeed?
- Minimum four years' painting experience within commercial facilities
- Holds a Journeyman Painter Certificate in the province of Alberta
- Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
- Proven experience in exercising good judgment under pressure
- Ability to work independently or collaborate as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
