Our client, an accredited ICBC collision repair shop, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Collision Repair Estimator to join their team.
They operate multiple shops across the Mid Island region of Vancouver Island, providing convenient, high-quality service to their customers throughout the area.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the repair process from start to finish, ensuring clear communication with customers, working closely with insurance companies, and the repair team to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
Your responsibilities will include providing detailed repair estimates and guiding customers through the entire repair process, while collaborating with insurance companies to secure necessary approvals.
You will coordinate closely with the repair team to prioritize jobs, order parts, and meet deadlines, ensuring timely completion of repairs.
Throughout this process, you will maintain accurate documentation and keep customers updated, addressing any necessary supplements along the way.
Finally, you will reconcile files for payment submission to ensure a smooth financial process.
As the ideal candidate, you will demonstrate a keen attention to detail and exceptional communication skills. Your background in automotive repair, combined with experience in insurance claims, will be vital to your success in this role.

Requirements
- 2 years’ experience in collision estimating, with prior experience working as a collision repair appraiser and / or prior experience as a technician at a collision repair center;
- 2 years' experience working with Mitchell and Audatex estimating platforms;
- Experience dealing with the various insurance company procedures;
- Experience with Body Shop Connect management systems is an asset;
- Excellent communication skills & problem-solving skills;
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
- Empathetic and patient demeanor with the ability to handle difficult customer situations professionally;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- A valid and clean driver’s license abstract is a requirement for this position and must be able to drive standard vehicles.
This full time (Monday-Friday) in office position offers an excellent total compensation package, including extended health and dental, as well as training and development opportunities.
