As a Senior Technical Program Manager on the AEC Solutions team, you will be in the driver's seat for our visible, highly important AEC Generative AI program influencing our approach to building our machine learning and data pipelines that will power our industry cloud.

You will be part of a versatile group of AI Researchers, ML Engineers, Software Architects, and Experience Designers who are building cutting-edge foundation models and generative AI tools for the AEC industry.

You will be partnering across functions and groups to create roadmaps, scope programs and align them with our priorities, define milestones and success metrics, and ensure we are building scalable, secure, reliable, efficient AI / ML solutions and platforms.

You will help drive the AEC Generative AI initiative translating strategic direction and organization-level goals into executable workstreams and programs.

You will need to influence senior leadership and executive stakeholders as we make important technical decisions and resource commitments.

You are expected to be an accelerating factor in realizing the AEC Generative AI vision and will greatly impact the AEC tools of the future.

You will play a critical role in maintaining our digital infrastructure, driving strategic partnerships, and ensuring cohesive collaboration across our rapidly evolving organization.

Report : You will report to the Senior AI / ML Development Manager in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Solutions Team.

Location : We support hybrid work, and you work near our Boston, Massachusetts or Toronto, Canada offices. This role follows East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the AEC Generative AI Leadership team to plan, operationalize, and execute the AEC Generative AI vision
  • Ensure tasks are coordinated, progress is consistently monitored, and stakeholders are kept informed
  • Lead and execute key cross-organizational special projects to ensure overall strategic alignment with organizational goals
  • Identify, maintain, and grow key partnerships and collaborations with cross-functional, cross-organization stakeholders to ensure the best technical implementation outcomes
  • Champion continuous learning and communication by helping the AEC Generative AI team build technical and soft skills by promoting knowledge sharing, mentoring, and bringing in other training programs
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, lead escalations, make tradeoffs, and balance our needs versus technical constraints
  • Simplify technical complexity and lead well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and research representatives
  • Communicate progress across organizational boundaries and levels from individual contributors to senior executives
  • Define organization-wide processes
  • Supervise the update and creation of content in design resources to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Organize and provide essential administrative support for design meetings, reviews, and team members.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Program Management and Strategic Planning experience
  • BS or MS in Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science or other related fields
  • Previous experience in AI technology and practices, with a focus on how to apply AI in commercialized professional products.
  • Prior experience leading a product through initial research to a commercially available offering.
  • Embody data-driven decision-making while ensuring an inclusive and collaborative culture
  • Experience managing teams with a collaborative and empowering approach
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills

Other Qualifications

  • Experience in the AEC industry, Autodesk products such as Revit, and AEC data schemas and standards.
  • Experience building scalable and resilient data ingestion and processing pipelines, monitoring and self-healing systems that power AI-based solutions for AEC workflows
  • Experience working with scrum and Agile development processes and methodologies
  • Comfortable with a dynamic business structure and able to adapt to changes swiftly
