MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Coordinator for our client, a Vancouver based developer specializing in residential projects.
The Project Coordinator will be a highly motivated and dedicated individual. They will be responsible for assisting the project management team with the organization and execution of projects and will serve as a liaison between the Project Manager and diverse teams.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate drawings and information necessary for permit packages, aiding in the application and approval process, and obtaining municipal permits.
- Generate bid analysis spreadsheets and recommendations.
- Create subcontracts and purchase agreements for execution.
- Review and assign cost codes to project invoices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs for drawings, vendor / subcontractor lists, RFI's, change orders, and track responses, providing status updates to the Project Management team.
- Organize reports, invoices, subcontracts, and financial files, and assist in the month-end billing process.
- Prepare and review Proposed Change Orders (PCO's) with the project manager.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained throughout the duration of assigned projects.
- Attend applicable meetings and provide meeting minutes as directed.
- Assist the project manager in document management for project closeout, including updating and distributing deficiency lists.
- Prepare operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals.
- Coordinate LEED documentation as required and submit monthly reports.
- Participate in project post-mortems.
Requirements :
- Minimum 3+ years of construction experience required.
- Strong ability to work independently.
- Exhibits professionalism, responsiveness, and a positive work attitude.
- Proficient in managing multiple competing priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder relationships.
- Advanced construction software skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Project, and Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
