Description

In this position you will ensure that Agilent’s Pathology based specimen tracking and connectivity IT solutions are specified, installed and taken into use by our customers in an efficient and structured way.

You will focus on deploying and configuring Agilent’s AP specimen tracking software to standardize workflow procedures in the pathology laboratory.

Experience working with SQL and troubleshooting are required.

Candidate must have expert knowledge of installing and upgrading servers and workstations, configuring software solutions as well as installing additional peripherals like network cards, barcode readers, printers, etc.

Candidate will be expected to have experience working with and connecting to Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) using HL7.

Working experience in LIS integration and interface development, workflow design and project management is expected.

This person will work closely together with sales, applications and service from Agilent, customers and third party vendors throughout the region to ensure projects and all associated documentation is completed in a timely and thorough manner.

The candidate should be comfortable developing and presenting proposed workflow solutions to customers. The position is part of the Agilent Diagnostic Services division.

Le candidat doit avoir de l’expérience de travail relative à la connexion de systèmes d’information de laboratoire à l’aide du protocole HL7.

De l’expérience de travail en matière d’intégration de systèmes d’information de laboratoire et de développement d’interfaces, de conception de flux de travail et de gestion de projets est attendue.

Cette personne travaillera en étroite collaboration avec les équipes des ventes, des applications et des services d’Agilent, les clients et les fournisseurs tiers de toute la région pour s’assurer que les projets et tous les documents connexes sont achevés rigoureusement dans les délais prescrits.

Le candidat doit être à l’aise avec l’élaboration et la présentation aux clients de propositions de solutions en matière de flux de travail.

Le poste fait partie de la division des services de diagnostic d’Agilent.

Qualifications

IT education

8+ years related experience

Strong written and verbal English skills

Ability to communicate with customer IT professionals at various level (big picture to intricate details)

Ability to deliver presentations to IT professionals as well as laboratory staff

Ability to develop confidence in IT staff and our sales team regarding the connectivity solutions area of expertise

Experience working with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), workflow management and deployment

Project management skills, technical specifications, project planning, testing design, implementation, validation and documentation

Experience programming and scripting (vbscript, SQLscript, SSRS)

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Experience using formal design methodologies and a structured development process preferably experiences with Agile or similar modern methodologies

A strong understanding of HL7 standards

Experience working with SQL

Excellentes compétences en matière de service à la clientèle et de communication

Expérience de l’utilisation de méthodologies de conception officielles et d’un processus de développement structuré; de préférence, expérience relative à la méthodologie Agile ou à des méthodologies modernes similaires

La fourchette salariale au Canada de ce poste est de 98,$ à 153,$ CA par an, et le titulaire est admissible à des primes, à des actions et à des avantages sociaux.
