Senior Mobile Application Developer

Role : Mobile Application Developer Location : Campbell California, Montreal, Canada, and remote working is also an option.

Role : At Centric your role will be to develop mobile applications that create value for Centric’s rapidly growing base of fast-moving consumer products companies.

These applications will integrate with Centric Software’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) cloud solution, providing users with a great mobile user experience.

What we are looking for · Deep customer empathy and passion for user-centric development · Ability to quickly translate insights into mockups, wireframes, and working proof-of-concept code · Expertise in quickly translating design (Figma, Miro, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PDF, PNGs) into working React Native code · Ability to mock out server-side dependencies to speed design and user feedback.

• Knowledge of server-side development processes, tools, and technology is a huge plus · Strong desire to learn and develop new skills continuously · Strong sense of ownership in what you build · You have and can implement big ideas with a positive attitude · Enjoy working collaboratively within a mission-driven team Responsibilities · Design, develop, and deliver product features as a Software engineer working on mobile applications for different platforms including iOS and Android · Maintain and improve the quality of our existing applications · Provide feedback and guidance for development projects on your team including design feedback, code review, and production issue investigation · Work with the iOS and Android teams to provide cross-platform compatibility Required Qualifications · BS Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent · 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with mobile applications development with React Native, iOS, or Android · 2+ years developing mobile applications with React Native · Working knowledge of XML, JSON, APIs, and Material Design · Proficient in cross-platform mobile applications development environment using React Native.
• Understanding of iOS App Deployment in the App Store. · Understanding of Android App Deployment in the Google Play store · Experience in designing apps for different device form factors · Previous work experience in an Agile environment · Strong adaptive problem-solving skills · Demonstration of sound software design principles, with the ability to create error-free, easily readable, documented software · Ability to clearly and effectively communicate at all levels from development to executive level · Working with mobile client-side databases like MongoDB, SQLite, Couchbase, Realm Preferred Qualifications · 3+ years’ experience with cross-platform mobile application development in React Native.
