Responsible for data entry, order management, and settlement management of all
logistics-related operations. The Logistics Analyst will work with logistics service providers
and customers to coordinate and ensure proper business processes. Will be required to
analyze and process every logistics related data as well as develop and implement any
necessary operational process. The Logistics Analyst will also handle daily / weekly / monthly
reports and create / run business simulations with the assigned database.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategically plan and monitor Outbound shipments.
Take charge of SOP creation
Oversee transportation management system to upload real time accurate data
and ensure accurate data migration across all platforms.
Liaise directly with customers to provide notification of operational issues and
ensure process follow-through to prevent issue aging.
Provide day-to-day management of operational status and analyze data to
assess performance and implement improvements
Lead discussions for essential freight documents
Understand and use the internal technologies required for daily functions
Investigate and diagnose potential errors and duplicated invoices.
Understand the contents of logistics costs
Find the optimal route with various transport modes and multimodal transport,
and setup it for transport.
Understand IRRE and subsequent claims that may occur during transportation,
and understand insurance coverage and handling methods.
Manage operational KPI, such as per-person productivity improvement and
process innovation / cost reduction, etc. and perform improvement activities.
Monitor daily on shipment delivery status, update system, collect delivery
document
Support the month-end shipment closing
Establish and manage a logistics process for each type, such as warehouse
operation / local transportation and operating guidelines.
Requirements / Qualifications :
College diploma or equivalent combination of education in a business / logistics
field.
Minimum - Years of Data Entry / Business Analysis / Freight Forwarding /
Transportation / Logistics-related experience is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of customs process / border crossing, intermodal operation,.
Computer skills : Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, SAP is an
asset
Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while
maintaining high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
Ability to read, prepare, interpret, and understand product shipment information
from various order and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and thorough
preparation of transportation documents.
Experience creating and generating reports.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
A self-starter attitude with an ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
