Full time permanent position with great benefits in Grand Prairie
Agilus is recruiting for a Facilities Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry in Grande Prairie, Alberta . The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to the operations and maintenance groups regarding existing facilities optimizations, modifications and managing / executing the Management of Change process. The successful candidate will work closely with both the Calgary based engineering teams and the field-based development, operations, engineering & maintenance teams in the execution of capital projects.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and execute the management of change initiation
- Lead facilities optimization activities including debottlenecking, modifications, rationalizing of consolidations, scoping of projects and other potential operating cost reduction initiatives.
- Liaise with Calgary based facilities engineers and field-based development teams in the project scoping, design and project management of various gas and oil field related facilities.
- Identify facility / pipeline requirements for current and future capital development, utilizing process / pipeline simulation software where applicable
- Participate in annual budgeting process and efficient execution of annual budget capital.
- Provide technical support to facility construction supervisors (FCS) ensuring that fit for purpose designs are constructed and engineering design requirements are met.
- Provide technical support / guidance to the regulatory group ensuring that facilities and infrastructure is compliant and provide recommendations on non-compliant facilities.
