Description de poste
We are in search of a Property Accountant to join an industry leader based in Edmonton, Alberta. In this role, you will be tasked with processing and recording company and inter-company transactions, creating monthly financial statements, and performing annual CAM Reconciliations.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately process and record all company and inter-company transactions using YARDI Voyager
- Generate monthly financial statements and related reports for multiple Canadian commercial rental companies
- Perform annual CAM Reconciliations
- Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare transfers and wires
- Generate weekly bank balance reports
- Handle monthly GST filings
- Adapt to handle various other duties as they arise
- Oversee accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Perform auditing duties and ensure adherence to Accrual Accounting practices
- Manage intercompany transactions and perform bank reconciliations
- Utilize skills in Account Coding and Property Accounting
- 2-3 years of relatable experience is desired.
- Knowledge in Cam Reconciliation is an asset.
- Proficiency in using Yardi Voyager and Yardi software is an asset
- Previous experience in Property Accounting is desired.
