We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Hospital Client Services Representative (CSR), who is detail oriented and demonstrates poise in a busy practice.
You must be a team player and enjoy contributing to the bigger picture of veterinary care. If you recognize yourself as having these skills, this could be the right fit for you.
Other assets include a high degree of professionalism and the ability to communicate flawlessly with clients. Prior veterinary hospital experience is required.
Prior experience with Cornerstone, PetDesk and Vetstoria preferred. You must be qualified to work in Canada. Apply and become part of the valued animal hospital team and work within the City of Kelowna.

What does a Client Service Representative do? Our CSRs are the face of our hospital; they are the first point and last point of contact for our clients.
Their role is vital to the success of our hospital as the CSR sets the tone for client interactions and conversations. You will be requested to :
- Answer phone calls.
- Respond to questions.
- Answer moderately complex questions.
- Initial triage of patient needs including emergent cases.
- Schedule appointments.
- Process billing and payments.
- Handles incoming and outgoing mail and e-mail.
- Documents and maintains client information. o File documents electronically. o Service data and other pertinent information within practice management software.
- Escalates complex matters to senior staff.
- Additional administrative & housekeeping duties. o Monitors client waiting area to ensure cleanliness. o Stock shelves.
o Confirm and receive orders.
- Work with Management to take on tasks to meet deadlines. Qualifications :
- Customer Service : 2+ years (required).
- Veterinary Medicine Experience : 2+ years (preferred).
- Administrative Experience : 2+ years (preferred).
- Adaptive or experienced with Cornerstone, PetDesk and Vetstoria software.
- Education or experience in related fields is considered an asset.
- A positive attitude, the ability to stay calm, and critical thinking skills are required.
