The Opportunity
Venturis Capital is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Coquitlam, BC. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring that all invoices received are processed properly as well as processing all business-related expense claims generated by employees while conducting business on behalf of the Company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Accounts Payable Clerk your key responsibilities will include :
- Accurately processing all received invoices and assigning appropriate codes
- Managing high- volume of data entry efficiently
- Following up with operations to resolve invoice-related issues
- Matching cheques and maintaining proper filing
- Handling wire transfers, electronic payments and credit application requests
- Undertaking other ad hoc administrative duties as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies :
- Possesses Accounting degree or a related field.
- Has a minimum of two years of related work experience in accounts payable.
- Previous bookkeeping experience would be beneficial.
- Demonstrates superior skills in using MS Office, with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Concur will be considered an asset.
- Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong multitasking abilities.
- Shows accuracy, organization and attention to detail.
- Has a proactive approach to meet deadlines.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.

The base pay range for this role is : $44,600 to $54,500 per year.
This is a hybrid role based in Coquitlam, BC.
