Miles HR is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Advisor for a minimum 2 month contract to work with a fast paced, established and growing organization in the Aviation Industry.

The HR Advisor will be responsible for employment letters, resignation and termination communications, managing medical leaves, processing accommodation requests, transferring employee files to document management system, and communication with employees regarding the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, along with three years of recent experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities : Draft and issue employment letters, resignation, and termination communications Manage and process medical leave requests Coordinate accommodation requests Transfer employee files to document management system Point of contact for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Provide advice and support to employees and management on HR-related matters Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations Answer day to day HR inquires as needed Other duties as required Starts May 1 Hours 8-5 Monday Friday Potential for permanent employment Richmond Airport Location Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Minimum three years of recent experience as an HR Advisor or similar role CPHR an asset Experience working with a variety of unions, preferably in the aviation industry Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations Tech savvy Proven experience with HRIS systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Flexible, adaptable and high performing Collaborative working style If you are interested in this 2 month Human Resources Advisor contract with potential for a permanent opportunity please apply here now!
