Description

  • Lead, manage, and inspire the kitchen staff to deliver outstanding culinary experiences
  • Develop and maintain menu quality and consistency, ensuring creativity and fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared to meet the highest standards
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs to maximize profitability
  • Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards within the kitchen
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient working environment
  • Handle kitchen staff scheduling, balancing labour costs within budget

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or in a similar leadership role in a high-volume kitchen
  • Exceptional culinary skills with a strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with experience managing and motivating a team
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices
  • Ability to manage kitchen budgets, ordering, and inventory effectively
  • Creativity and passion for crafting delicious, high-quality menu item
  • Culinary certification or equivalent experience is an asset
