About the role
We are looking for a bilingual Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our team on a 12-month contract.
As a Senior Human Resources Consultant, your work will have a big impact on providing coaching and professional human resources advice to our business partners, consider market best practices while being aligned with the laws, regulations and corporate values.
What you’ll do here :
Provide coaching and professional human resources advice to our business partners, taking into account market best practices while being aligned with the laws, regulations and corporate values.
Active member of the management committees of the designated groups.
Contribute and make a difference with strategies, analyzes and challenges in human resources management.
Participate in national or regional projects, play a key role in our ongoing transformation and deploy corporate initiatives and programs.
Conduct investigations and assist managers in conflict management and other issues.
Respond to complex questions related to human resources management.
Lead round tables, training workshops and information sessions for managers and / or employees.
Collaborate and work with leaders in succession planning and the identification and development of talent.
Contribute to the HR process improvement.
Make salary recommendation based on best compensation practices.
Conduct needs analysis and assist managers in the definition and classification of positions and in workforce planning.
What you bring to the table :
Bilingualism in French and English is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
University degree in Human Resources Management with at least five (5) years of experience as a generalist in human resources in a non-unionized environment.
Ability to evolve in a multi-site, matrix organization and in a constantly evolving environment.
Strong communication skills, strong ability to influence and relational ease with all hierarchical levels.
Solid organizational development skills in a transformation context.
Strong planning and project management skills, rigor, analytical and synthesis skills.
Pragmatism and strategic thinking to solve operational and / or complex problems.
Knowledge in all areas of human resources including talent management, performance management and employee relations, change management, engagement, compensation, organizational development, workforce planning and succession planning.
CHRP and / or CHRL designation in progress.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
Travel nationally will be required occasionally.
