Job Title : Home Design Manager

Job Summary :
Our client is currently looking for an experienced and creative Home Design Manager to oversee the design process of residential projects from concept to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, with a focus on residential homes, and possess excellent leadership and project management skills.
This role requires a keen eye for design, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and development of custom home projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, local regulations, and industry best practices.
- Oversee architectural design processes, including initial concept development, design revisions, and final approvals.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, providing design recommendations and ensuring their needs are met.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other consultants to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are adhered to.
- Manage and mentor a team of junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support on project designs.
- Ensure all design work is compliant with local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
- Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technology to implement innovative design solutions.
- Lead design presentations and meetings with stakeholders, providing clear communication and updates on project progress.
Qualifications
- 3-year Architectural Diploma or related field (required).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in architectural design, specifically in residential or home design projects.
- Previous experience managing design teams and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills and Competencies :
- Strong proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Excellent understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
