Armour Group Inc. is looking for a full-time, on-site Graphic Designer to join their team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in protecting our brand image, creating engaging content and ensuring consistent messaging across various communication channels including email, text messages and social media.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, graphic design, video editing, with excellent communication skills, creative mindset and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling and impactful marketing materials that include but not limited to brochures, web pages, presentations, videos and internal communications that align with our brand image and messaging.
- Write and edit engaging copy for emails, text messages, and video scripts.
- Develop concepts by hand or with software and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
- Conduct thorough research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, incorporating relevant insights into content development.
- Develop a deep understanding of our brand identity and values.
- Create guidelines and protocols to safeguard brand consistency across all marketing materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce brand consistency throughout the organization.
- Develop a deep understanding of our customer base, ensuring that all communications resonate with the target audience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into marketing materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Five or more years of experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and ability to use video editing software.
- Proficiency in video creation and editing, including motion graphics and animation.
- Basic digital technology (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Understand colour theory and typography / fonts and design principles.
- Proficiency in crafting engaging marketing content for various channels.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
