Marketing Manager (Health / Insurance)

This open role in the insurance industry offers a unique opportunity to lead impactful marketing initiatives while working closely with cross-functional teams.

What is in it for you :

  • Salaried : $60 to $70 per hour.
  • Incorporated Business Rate : $74 to $84 per hour.
  • 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
  • Full-time position : 37.50 hours per week.
  • Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
  • Hybrid work : 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the Product team to design and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for optional member products, including Life, Critical Illness, and AD&D.
  • Develop high-quality omni-channel marketing collateral for external clients.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of digital marketing content using agency support and design tools.
  • Ideate and craft innovative creative concepts in partnership with a creative agency.
  • Execute marketing campaigns aligned with business metrics and objectives, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Manage projects effectively in a cross-functional environment, meeting deadlines and content requirements.
  • Analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Stay informed of digital marketing trends and integrate them into strategies.

What you will need to succeed :

  • University or college degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in marketing, including at least 2 years in digital marketing.
  • Experience in the health or insurance industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies and materials that drive sales and product growth.
  • Strong project management skills, including leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple initiatives.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and target audience needs.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills for impactful omni-channel marketing collateral.
  • Experience analyzing data and metrics to measure marketing campaign effectiveness and optimize performance.
  • Familiarity with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Positive relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are an asset.
  • Self-starter with a strong ability to work independently while knowing when to engage with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable ideas.
  • French language skills are an asset.
