has arisen to join our dynamic team within BC Soccer at its Vancouver office. BC Soccer is seeking a organized, critical thinker and proactive professional for the position of Manager, Development Programs.
This position is responsible for the design and effective management of national and provincial
standards-based programs. The Manager, Development Programs oversees alignment to nationally led standards with a focus on planning, organization and execution while ensuring programs are on
time, on budget, and within scope.
Role Objectives :
The Manager, Development Programs is a member of the Soccer Development Department. The Manager, Development Programs optimizes the design, administration, and assessment of development programs for full implementation in British Columbia.
The Manager, Development Programs, develop clear project scopes and manages portfolios of programs to support the provincial and national technical development strategy.
Core Responsibilities :
- Support overall technical development strategy and operational priorities
- Execute administrative functions in the delivery of standards-based program
- Primary lead in the design, planning and administration of development program
- Provide direction and leadership to staff actively engaged on the delivery of programs
- Support Club Operational Development and Enhancements
- Responsible for project planning, scoping, roadmap and reporting
- Actively engage with internal and external key contacts to prioritise effective communication across programs
- Foster a strong staff culture aligned to BC Soccer’s purpose and values.
- Provide guidance to member clubs, leagues and districts throughout British Columbia
- Liaise with partners and external contractors to actively support fulfillment of partnership deliverables.
Remuneration
The position will include full benefits and a competitive compensation ranging between $50, to $65, annually based on experience for a role of this nature.
