Program Manager - Meditech Readiness & Activation
On behalf of our health services client, Procom is currently seeking a Program Manager (Meditech Readiness & Activation) on a 12-month contract to-start basis.
This client is pleased to offer a remote work model for this role.
Program Manager- Meditech Readiness & Activation - Job Details :
- Work with project resources to collect requirements, define scope, verify and control scope.
- Work with stakeholder groups to review, identify, clarify and prioritize business and technical requirements
- Provide scoping of proposed solutions
- Aid in the development of a roadmap for the program and delivery of both interim and long term solutions
- Define project goals and responsibilities including creation of a responsibility assignment matrix.
- Have oversight of the multiple streams of work and ability to manage subprojects
- Define activities, sequence activities, estimation of resources and activity duration.
- Develop and control schedule
- Identify stakeholders, plan, execute and distribute communications and other related project requirements
- Report on performance, budget, schedule, meeting minutes, decisions, outcomes, risks and any other reporting requirements
- Manage budget
- Identify high-level risks as part of the project planning process
- Follow organization's structured project management process including Project Charter, budget, and status deliverables.
- Other deliverables may include : Integration Management Scope Management Human Resource Management Change Management Communications Management
Program Manager- Meditech Readiness & Activation - Mandatory Skills :
- Minimum 5 years recent experience in Healthcare with a particular focus on IT systems and operational support
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing projects to implement business systems
- Proponent shall possess strong English language oral and written communication skills
- Proponent shall possess strong English language oral and written communication skills
- Proponent shall possess strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
- It is an asset if the proponent possesses experience or knowledge of Meditech Expanse, Clinical Device Integration, Jira
- It is an asset if the candidate possesses a PMP certification
Program Manager- Meditech Readiness & Activation - Nice-To-Have Skills :
- Experience in BC Healthcare preferred
- Experience in large organizations preferred
- Experience with large-scale clinical transformation and / or clinical information system implementation is preferred.
- Future site implementations and our operational training strategy will look to leverage the deliverables resulting from this engagement.
Retention of intellectual property and ownership of editable artifacts is a requirement.

12-month contract to-start (with the potential for one extension of six (6) months).
