Job Description :
Another Mason Group exclusive! Are you interested in working with a small group of dynamic yet down-to-earth professionals in an entrepreneurial environment as their Corporate Controller?
If so, you may be a fit for our well-respected private equity client located in downtown Vancouver.
As a passionate CPA, the world is your oyster to take this role, run with it, and make it your own, as this is a newly created position at this established investment manager.
Reporting to senior leadership, our client is looking for a brilliant CPA to lead all accounting and tax functions for the firm’s funds and entities.
Your scope of responsibility will include full cycle accounting in a low transaction environment through to financial and investor reporting.
Tax compliance, reviewing externally prepared partnership tax filings, leading the annual audit, and assisting with valuations are seasonal yet critical responsibilities of this role.
Investor relations, capital management, and fund operations round out the day-to-day focus and add variety. Once mastered, there will be ample time for you to take on special projects, process improvements, technology reviews and recommendations, and many other initiatives.
They will be looking for your suggestions and recommendations once you learn the role and the business.
Our client offers amazingly beautiful offices and a collegial team environment. They also offer some flexibility with in-office hours to support personal commitments.
With responsibility for all financial operations, this is a pivotal role and fit with the team is everything to our client.
If you meet most of the requirements but are open to learning others, then please don’t hesitate to apply.
