Required Skills :
5+ years of experience working as a Social Media Project Manager
Requires a Bachelor's degree.
Communication and Stakeholder Management : Effective communication is vital for ensuring clear expectations, updates, and feedback with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
Good project managers need to actively listen and convey information clearly.
Organizational and Time Management Skills : The ability to plan, prioritize, and manage resources efficiently is key to ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed.
A project manager must juggle multiple tasks, track project progress, and adjust plans as necessary.
Technical Proficiency : The ability to manage multiple platforms to support a team of social media marketers, including Sprout, Slack, SharePoint, and Teams.
A project manager must be able to find solutions around managing different platforms for different outputs from the team as we scale globally.
Required Equipment : Must have access to a computer running Windows OS to perform day-to-day responsibilities effectively.
Responsibilities :
Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams : Collaborate with marketing, creative, analytics, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on social media initiatives.
Ensure Seamless Execution of Campaigns : Oversee content production and social media promotions across different departments.
Manage Social Media Tools and Technologies : Oversee the use of social media management tools (e.g., scheduling platforms, monitoring tools, analytics software).
Ensure the team has the resources and training necessary to leverage these technologies efficiently.
Ensure Compliance and Risk Management : Implement and enforce social media policies, including legal and compliance guidelines (e.
g., brand guidelines, advertising policies, content moderation). Manage any social media crises or reputational risks that may arise, ensuring swift and effective responses.
Engage Cross-Company Social Media Community : Develop and distribute social media performance guidelines, analytics methodology, and platform practices to build a global community for social media.
This includes seasonal planning, monthly meetings, and holistic social media strategies.
