Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A / P) Clerk to join a team of highly skilled professionals in a stimulating work environment!
In this position, you will be required to manage all general administrative needs of the Accounting / Finance Department and will be working closely with the Accounting Manager. Some of the responsibilities in this role will include : Matching and batching code, processing expense reports and updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the general ledger. This role will be based out of the Vancouver, British Columbia area and will be a long-term contract opportunity!
What you get to do everyday!
- Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable
- Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
- Handle administrative tasks for the AP / Finance Department
- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
- Help with internal and external audits as required
