Swim Recruiting is excited to be working on immediate 6-month contract need to support the accounts payable team for one of our clients, a top employer here in Vancouver!

What - the opportunity :

Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable this is a temporary position to support their account’s payable function.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Assist the team to look after the Income Producing Properties (IPP) Accounts Payable Process (P2P)
  • Assist with system development and testing as required (P2P)
  • Follow up on the tracking of invoices with the property management team
  • Manage coding and approvals for invoices processed outside of P2P
  • Administer monthly reconciliation of vendor statements, review of AP aging reports
  • Manage vendor inquiries
  • Assist with Development and Corporate payables as needed

Qualifications - Must Haves :

  • Minimum of 1 year of full cycle Accounts Payable coupled with some completion of post secondary education.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Can effectively prioritize and multi-task multiple deadlines.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment   without sacrifice to quality of work.
  • Takes a positive approach to responsibilities and interpersonal interactions.
  • Is a team player while also able to work well independently.
  • Is detail oriented and possesses good analytical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.

    • Qualifications or Experience in the following areas would be preferred but not necessary.

  • Yardi 7S experience
  • Experience in the Real Estate industry
  • Strong Excel skills

    • Where :

    Vancouver- hybrid in office.

    How Much :

    This will be an hourly position due to the contract nature of employment $25- 26.50 / hr.
