Toromont Cat is looking for a Work Tool & Attachment Specialist to join our team! To improve management and returns on work tools and attachments through execution of disciplined process and procedures that will limit write down of assets, maximize sale & GP dollars while facilitating the more timely turns of inventory and reducing inventory costs.
Additionally, act a resource for the field sales team for pricing and application support.

In a typical day, YOU will :
Work with sales Management and Equipment Orders to produce an annual Work Tool forecast for Cat and non-Cat Work Tools.
Act as primary contact for Cat Work Tool Rep and other aftermarket suppliers
- Working with Equipment Orders team, place stock orders for inventory to the factory, ensuring optimal inventory level of new attachments available to support machine deals and loose sales
- Working with the Sales Ops group and Regional Sales Management to evaluate less off assets, trade values of attachment and repair requirements to ensure used assets are in salable condition
- Actively work with Service Operations on the inspection, evaluation and repair strategy of all non-fleet attachments with the emphasis on keeping repair costs & capital costs to a reasonable level relative to sales
- Act as primary process owner for the dealership attachment website & inventory with emphasis on proper identification, description, photos, supporting information and pricing for all non-fleet attachments
- Act as Pricing Specialist for Work Tool and Attachment deals, review asset pricing, programs, deal structure, deal reporting and MBP target pricing for commission purposes
- Monitor Report Card metrics to ensure all goals and objectives are being met in the area of work tools and attachments
- Corporate role reporting to the Corporate Equipment Supply Chain Manager, along with connections to Sales Ops, Equipment Orders, Regional Sales Managers and Executive team
Must-haves for this role :
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Good organizational skills and sense of urgency
- Self-motivated and able to adapt to changing priority schedules often
- Caterpillar and or Heavy Equipment experience would be an asset
- Sales experience beneficial, product knowledge essential
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Post Secondary education in Business or equivalent experience
