Summary :
Mircom is seeking a Demand Generation Specialist to capture, nurture, and convert leads into customers and partners( MVPs ).
The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness, engage leads, and drive interest in Mircom’s products, services, and partner programs.
Key responsibilities include defining and communicating Mircom's unique selling proposition ( USP ) through compelling content, events, and engagements to differentiate Mircom from competitors and clarify its market position and value proposition.
The ideal candidate will also have proven experience in demand generation, strong communication skills, and proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools.
Key Responsibilities :
- Creates and oversees the annual plan, budget, and schedule for demand generation activities.
- Engages with peers in Product Marketing and Product Management early in the product development cycle to develop marketing strategies and plans.
- Develops and executes demand generation strategies, programs and tactics that increase awareness, leads, conversions, builds pipeline and delivers revenue.
- Monitors, analyses, and reports on the performance and ROMI of demand generation campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize and improve results.
- Leads and manages a team of demand generation & event marketers, sets and tracks goals, and provides guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and achieve targets.
- Oversees the industry event strategy, including a mix of Mircom-owned client events and an annual calendar of industry trade shows.
- Oversees the creation and execution of digital and account-based-marketing (ABM) plans including SEO, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Manages an external agency to oversee the delivery of digital, creative and technical services including budget allocation, targeting strategies, and performance tracking.
- Stays informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing evolving into Mircom’s demand generation expert.
- Oversees website operations ensuring it serves as an effective demand generation tool. Manages SEO, content, technical performance, branding and design.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of demand generation efforts
Requirements and Skills :
- Post Secondary diploma or degree in marketing, business management, or a related program.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in marketing with a focus on demand generation and events.
- Experience leading and managing a high-performing marketing team / business unit.
- A proven track record in marketing achieving results and business objective.
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting is an asset.
- Experience in Fire, Life Safety and Security industry is an asset.
- Familiarity with marketing automation including ActiveCampaign, Hootsuite is an asset.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Must be able to travel for live events, regional office visits, and field marketing.
