Shunt Operator with Forklift

Are you a Shunt Operator that has forklift skills? We are looking for a certified forklift operator to join our team at a growing transportation company in SE Calgary

In this role, you will work as a cross dock operator, handling less-than-truckload (LTL) duties. You'll also operate a shunt truck, moving trailers and containers within our facility to ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods.

Your work will be essential in keeping our operations running smoothly and supporting our logistics team

Located at 52nd St SE Calgary

Shift starts from 5 : 00 am, Monday to Friday

Starting pay of $20 an hour

Responsibilities

Able to operate forklift machine inside the warehouse to load trailers

Operate shunt truck to move trailers and containers to and from designated areas.

Perform safety checks on vehicles and report any maintenance issues.

Communicate effectively with the logistics team to coordinate movement of goods.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Valid Class 1 with a clean driving record.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a shunt truck driver and forklift operator

Valid forklift license

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
